Sustainable Development

Sustainable Development:
Sustainable development means many things to many people. Depending in which sector of
industry you are working, you may have a different definition. For me it is the ‘development that
meets everybody’s needs today without compromising resource to meet the needs of generations to
come’.
People concerned about sustainable development suggest that meeting the needs of the future and
the poor depends on how well we manage our social, economic and environmental objectives. It
combines the social challenges faced by humanity today, in particular the essential needs of the
world’s poor.
The greatest challenge facing the world today is eradicating poverty. In my own way I am
committed to freeing world hunger as a requirement to sustainable development. The eradication
of poverty by changing unsustainable patterns in the western cultures by sharing wealth, education
and resources in an economic and sustainable way.
Sustainable Development Goals
I resolve to establish an inclusive and transparency on sustainable development that is
open to all interested parties with the view to commitment of sharing resource and
education to the needy.
Provisions include, basic comforts, food, clothing, education, recycling programs, quality
drinking water, natural resource productivity, regeneration of land use, hazardous waste
disposal and sustainable management of natural resources. Involvement of local people in
decision making.

Renewable Energy:
To ensure sustainable development eradicates energy poverty and securing energy
supply. It is therefore essential to harness technologies in energy efficiency and
renewable energy. Capturing wind, Solar and micro-hydro for basic lighting and water
pumping.
Renewable energy projects will substantially contribute towards sustainable
development. It will provide benefits in terms of the environment, climate change and
air and water quality and will also have social and economic benefits in terms of job and
income creation at local levels. It will also help to stabilise energy supply in the poorest
regions of the world.
